I'm desperately searching for an old fic, where Charles was send to a mental hospital as a child and was treated with electroshocks. So he doesn't really remember himself or Raven. Raven joined up with Magneto in exchange for liberating her brother. And I remember something about Charles later being trained by Erik in telepaphy. There was some really beautiful description about butterflies and telepathy somewhere at the end.
