New layout!

Hi, everyone! We've just changed the layout to a full-width, scaleable layout that more closely resembles the old S1 style. There are still a few bugs and tweaks that we're trying to work out, but for the most part it seems to be settled.

If you are experiencing any problems seeing/using the layout, or have helpful suggestions, please direct them to this post. Also, if you're using a mobile device and can't get the layout working, that's useful information as well. Thanks for your patience!

ETA, 12/23: To everyone looking for the LJ code overrides, I've posted them here with documentation and a list of known bugs. :)

I wasn't sure if I should ask this here or in the code post you've made, but have you figured out why after you reply to a thread it'll bring you back to page one of the comments?

After I replied to this (http://xmen-firstkink.livejournal.com/6437.html?thread=9740581#t9740581) thread, I got this link (http://xmen-firstkink.livejournal.com/6437.html?thread=1#t11030821) when I was done. It's happened a few other times, but I'm not sure why.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up. I've noticed that a few times. It's not a CSS bug -- it's a programming issue on LJ's part. (CSS is actually pretty limited and mostly affects appearance and not actions; for example, I can't get dates to display on collapsed threads because they're programmed not to display).

LJ's most recent release post (http://lj-releases.livejournal.com/72149.html) says there's a ticket about losing comment position, though it might only have been filed for the S1 style. When I'm more awake, I'll see about filing a ticket for customized S2 pages.

I couldn't tell if it was CSS related or LJ related, which is why I figured someone should know.
