What a build-up.
I'm more impressed by the end of the chapter than by Raven's death and the others immediate reactions. It is so strong and heart-wrenching and... I'm afraid to read what's coming next.

I'm so pleased that worked for you, because frankly that's the piece that was closest to my heart. It was awful to write (because it's based really heavily on my own experiences) but it's been really rewarding to see how people have reacted to it, so thank you :)
