Rules Post
General Rules
Reason: Asking for a particular kink alone does not constitute a prompt. A search of Delicious using the femslash (or other kink, pairing or scenario tag) is more appropriate. A prompt also needs to include a pairing, or if the prompter has no preference Other/Other, and some indication of the scenario or other story elements they would like included.
Alex/Raven I just want to read these two together.
Reason: Asking for a particular pairing alone does not constitute a prompt. Again, a search of Delicious will show all the currently tagged prompts and fills for this pairing.
Reposting Old Prompts
Reposting old prompts is now allowed on the meme but please make sure to follow these guidelines:
Format of Prompts
In order to make Delicious archiving easier, please use the following names:
*characters not featured in the movie (Jean, Scott, etc)
Fills
Please direct any questions to the Ask A Mod page! Thanks.
- We have has zero tolerance towards prompts and comments containing personal attacks on other community users and private individuals, bullying, and hate speech. Signed in members who violate this rule will first receive a warning and their comments will be frozen/screened. The second violation will result in banning of that member from the community. Anon comments violating this rule will be deleted.
- If your comment is deleted/screened/frozen and you don't know why, please PM a mod or make a comment in the Ask A Mod page.
- Plagiarism will result in an immediate ban.
- Prompt posts will close to new prompts at 5,000 comments.
- Keep your negative opinions on a pairing, a kink, RPF, etc to yourself or to your own journal. Bashing on the meme will not be tolerated.
- Do not bash characters, pairings, or real people, whether individuals or groups, and whether they're connected with the X-Men canon or not.
- People and pairing bashing includes: name-calling, blatant stereotyping, "your kink is not ok", and statements intended to belittle a person, group, or idea.
- People and pairing bashing does not include: honest, thoughtful discussion of sensitive issues; disagreeing politely about a point of fact; disagreeing politely about a point of opinion.
- Report bashing to the mods. Please don't engage the poster.
- One prompt per comment.
- Please follow the correct format (see below).
- Include trigger warnings in the subject line. For your reference: Required Warnings
- If your prompt is missing something, such as a subject or a warning, repost it in it’s entirety. It is not enough to reply to your own comment with the missing information. The mods will delete the previous duplicate comment. Relatedly, if your prompt does not have enough information to archive it in delicious, it is breaking this rule and will be deleted.
- If a comment doesn't have an actual prompt in it, it will be deleted. For example:

Reposting Old Prompts
Reposting old prompts is now allowed on the meme but please make sure to follow these guidelines:
- Prompts can only be reposted from more than two rounds back. For example, Round 4 can have reposts from Round 1 only. Round 5 can have reposts from Rounds 1 and 2 only. And so on.
- When reposting a prompt, make note of it in the subject line and include a link to the original prompt somewhere in the comment.
- Always link to the original, even if you are reposting from another repost.
- Authors can make a fill at the original prompt or at a repost; if they chose to post their fill at a repost, they should leave a comment on the original with a link to the fill.
- Delicious/pinboard volunteers will not archive reposts.
Format of Prompts
- Alphabetize pairings/threesomes/moresomes. (e.g. Charles/Erik/Raven)
- Put [RPF] before RPF prompts. (e.g. [RPF] James/Michael)
- For crossover prompts: "[Crossover], XMFC Character(s)/Other Character(s), [Fandom]" (e.g. [Crossover], Raven/Hermione, [Harry Potter])
- No "!" in pairings, only in descriptions. (e.g. Alex/Darwin, CFO!Alex, CorporateHeadhunter!Darwin)
- Anyone, everyone, no one? Use "Other" (e.g. Moira/Other)
- Put [GEN] before GEN prompts.
- Use appropriate warnings.
In order to make Delicious archiving easier, please use the following names:
Alex | Angel |
Azazel | Charles |
Darwin | Emma |
Erik | Hank |
Moira | Raven |
Riptide | Sean |
Shaw | Other* |
*characters not featured in the movie (Jean, Scott, etc)
Fills
- Warn for triggers.
- Link to NSFW images/videos. Don't embed.
- Please don't link to locked material. This includes locked communities, even in membership is open.
- Fills may be posted anonymously or not.
- Fills can be anything: fic, art, vid, fanmix, podfic, etc.
- All prompts are open to fills at all times, even if they have been filled in the past or are being currently filled by someone else. Multiple fills are positively encouraged; if something appeals to you then do not be put off creating a new fill by the existence of a prior one.
- To make sure that your newly posted fic is found and properly indexed, please post a comment to the completed fills list or the WIP update post using the prescribed format. The fill list post is for fills only, not feedback. Comments that do not contain fills and random comments will be deleted. As with prompt comments, if your fill is missing information (missing subjects are the most common) or if your html is fudged it will be deleted. Repost such fills.
Please direct any questions to the Ask A Mod page! Thanks.
