Charles has been in love with Erik for years, and Erik is fiercely protective over Charles and loves hanging out with him and getting into long debates with him, but he thinks the person he's looking for is more similar to him, and doesn't think of Charles in a sexual light at all. So Charles has to listen to Erik tell all about his crushes/relationship problems/break-ups and of course Charles being Charles he tries to offer advice and stuff.
But then... Erik somehow discovers Charles' feelings~. Drama! Angst! Mortified Charles! Shocked Erik! Angst! ...
