He assumes that he's just misplacing them and the kids are being more diligent in picking up around the mansion and doing their chores.
In actuality, Erik misses Charles' scent and sends Azazel to pinch articles from Charles' closet when he's feeling particularly moody. Can be crack, romance, angst, whatever, but I really want to read about how much Erik misses Charles and his scent. Bonus points if author anon can work in a scene from before the divorce when Erik first becomes addicted to the smell of Charles.
