Their marriage ceremony was witnessed by Humphrey the class hamster, and they both wore rings Erik made for them out of twisted paperclips; they were the best of friends until they had to split up for primary school - Charles went somewhere very posh and upper-class, while Erik stuck to public schools. They never really kept in touch after that, BUT many years later they find each other again since they're attending the same university - SURPRISE! And while they slowly put back together the pieces of their old friendship, they also find out that you never quite forget the first person you ever loved <3

Date: 2012-08-14 05:40 pm (UTC)Erik has lived on Grayson Blvd. for the past five years. His life has been nice and pleasant and quiet because that's the way he likes it. One day, he sees a beat up old Pontiac with a moving van in tow pulling up next door to the house that's been vacant for the past few years (ever since old lady McCauslind died).
Charles and a small boy (David) exit out of the car, the brunette appearing quite wary before entering the house while quickly ushering the child inside. Once they are moved in, Erik can't help but begin to look forward to the glimpses he gets of his new neighbor, and finally one day they speak.
Erik is falling hard for Charles, and thinks Charles is falling for him, but Charles keeps refusing every date Erik attempts to ask him out on. Turns out, Charles was in an extremely abusive relationship beforehand (doesn't matter what character you use, could even be someone made up) and is afraid to be in another relationship. He's very insecure, but at the same time, extremely protective of his son.
Erik does his best to show Charles that not every other man is an abusive asshole.
Happy ending preferred, but I would love to drown in angst and H/C during the story. Apologies for the long prompt :D
Bonus : Charles' ex finds him, and Erik gets rid of him for GOOD

Especially this cute professor guy that Erik has a crush on and is awkwardly stalking in an attempt to ask out. Yes, Erik will ask him out, and protect him from bears.
And part one of this plan goes well: Erik finally asks cute professor guy, who he finds out is named Charles, out.
But part two kind of falls to pieces when Erik finds out that Charles is a werebear. D'oh.
(OP would like to specify that she is looking for cracky rom com shenanigans and a happy ending with this prompt, and not serious-business star-crossed angst.)

Say Charles and Erik are together, settling into a relationship. Erik is a widower pref. with kids (of your choice.) It's going fine.
Then Charles starts to get sick. At first he's in denial, but at last he gets it checked out. He's really sick (maybe or maybe not with the same thing that killed Erik's wife). In fact he's dying.
With some difficulty he breaks the news to Erik, who seems to cope at first. But he's not really coping at all. In fact he doesn't think he can go through this again, and he doesn't think he can ask the kids to deal with it either. So at the lowest point - maybe Charles is in hospital, and the doctors have put an actual prognosis and life expectation on his file, it's official - Erik does a runner. Picks up the kids, gets his work to transfer him, disappears. Leaves Charles to it, with only Raven and his friends to lean on as he dies.
Except. Charles doesn't die. Via handwavey experimental treatment - or an angel descending from heaven, whatever you like - he actually recovers. Which is a bit of a shock all round.
Especially for Erik when he finds out, as much later as you like. And Charles isn't particularly forgiving.
I'd like them to get back together, but maybe only with a lot of assistance from Raven, sarcastic onslaughts from Charles' friends and a very cold reception from Charles.
Make the illness as handwavey or intensively researched as you like. Powers or not, as you wish. Wrong-footing Erik is key!

Kurt Marko is one of those "women stay in the kitchen" types, one of those guys who brags about having a son and looks pityingly at families with only daughters, with very specific ideas on gender roles. He insists his stepdaughters Charlotte and Raven go to charm school (Charlotte has no problems doing it, though tomboyish Raven considers it her own special hell), forces them to wear demure dresses, is heavy on the slut shaming when Raven brings home her first miniskirt, and frequently laments how his late wife's failing as a woman was never cooking/cleaning, never mind Sharon's money was what paid for all the hired help. The girls, of course, are expected to remain seen, not heard, at their fancy dinner parties, while Kurt's son Cain is given all sorts of privileges for being a boy. On the flipside, Kurt is extraordinarily harsh on Cain given his high expectations, especially given how effortlessly Charlotte manages to outperform him on everything academically, athletically, while still answering all of Kurt's "woman lessons." This naturally creates added friction between the stepsibs.
When it comes time for Charlotte to apply to apply to college, Kurt tells her flatly that he'll only pay to send her to secretarial school. But Charlotte gets around that by being offered a full-ride to her choice school for being her brilliant self. But during the celebratory get together/send-off in her honor, the family attorney inadvertently points out that as the only child of Brian Xavier, Charlotte will inherit the entire estate once she turns 21, and Kurt will no longer be trustee. Kurt then decides he will marry Charlotte once she graduates, the first step in his plan being to legally adopt Raven, several years Charlotte's junior and thus a minor, to more-or-less use her as a hostage, being unable to take Raven with her and to ensure Charlotte comes home during the mandated holidays.
At school, Charlotte, the superstar of the genetics department, has a reputation of being the ice queen--beautiful, brilliant, utterly unattainable. It's not that she's overtly unfriendly. But she won't give anyone the time of day romantically. Erik (mechanical engineering student?) falls for her fast (maybe after she pulled him from the pool? lol), but Charlotte is understandably wary of most men by this point. Still, Erik's persistent, and is able to keep up with her chess games, and on their first date, he wins her over by cooking for her, simply because it goes against all her expectations. Being with Erik is the freest she's felt in a long time. But even as she finds herself falling for Erik, one call from Raven about how Cain's terrorizing her reminds her she can never have him. Charlotte knows that inevitably, her marriage to Kurt is looming in her future.
Would love if you could include a creepy seduction scene with Kurt that takes place during one of Charlotte's trips home for the holidays: Kurt makes Charlotte dress up in a fancy party dress that showcases ample cleavage, invites her into his study for a nightcap where he obviously tries to ply her with drink, him circling her like she's a piece of meat, stroking/smelling her hair, squeezing her thigh, go wild. The creepier, the better.

All Charles knows about it is that the omegas perform without any form of pheromonal inhibitors as is usual, which means that the safety precautions have been upped by a lot. Bullet proof (but pheromone permeable) glass between the stage and the viewing booths, menacing looking body guards at every door and lurking next to every stage.
The hook is that you're not allowed to touch the performers oozing with omega pheromones, and the visitors find it exhilarating to try and restrain themselves.
Basically it's a room full of alphas staring at omegas and rubbing their own (or each other's!) stiff cocks.
Erik, one of the omega performers, has a reputation of being extremely good at looking absolutely disinterested while performing for a crowd. This is a big turn-on for alphas who would want to visit a club like that. Usually an omega would get affected, too, by the smell of horny alphas surrounding them, but Erik gives the spectators the sense that he's doing all of this self-pleasure for himself and is absolutely disgusted that they'd want to watch him.

Regardless of what he is- He has a very special ability - when he touches the dead, they come back to life. Second touch and they are dead again (forever). If they remain alive for more than a minute after he first revives them, something of equivalent value dies in their place. Erik realises this quite soon (a minute, to be precise) after he first discovers his powers - when he finds his mother murdered by a serial murderer (who remains at large to date), touches her corpse only to find her talking to him again (never mind that she's bloody) and one minute later, he sees Mr Xavier next door abruptly collapse (his death leading to the Xavier family moving away when Mrs Xavier remarries). (Of course, Erik's mother dies again when she sees him clearly upset and tries to hug him.)One day, Erik chances upon the funeral of Charles Xavier, the bright and beautiful boy living next door who he had a secret crush on when they were children. He brings Charles back to life (at the cost of someone else's life).
And so, we have 1) Erik and Charles falling in love and dancing around each other, unable to touch, 2) Erik chasing after his mother's murderer, determined to get revenge, 3) the secrets that Erik keep from Charles - that he is alive because someone is dead in his place (idealistic Charles will certainly very much not approve), and that Erik pretty much caused Charles' miserable childhood years (alcholic mother, abusive stepfather and stepbrother) by killing his father. Rest of the details (other characters/plot etc) is up to writer.

Every once in a while, fashion tycoon Emma Frost invites her favorite male models over to entertain her. And by "entertain", I mean she makes them have kinky consensual sex in front of her. What kind of sex they have depends on her mood. If she's frustrated, she likes to see one of them (it's usually Erik) being spanked until their ass is sore. If she's lonely, she makes them go slow. There's beta vampires, are most what most of the humans turned vampires become, there's a 1 out of 10 chance you might get an alpha but getting a turned omega is rare. Alpha and Omega vampires can produce vampire babies and they will always be alpha or omegas.
So ancient vampire alpha Erik can't resist turning this young genius professor and of course he turns out to be an omega vampire.

Date: 2013-11-06 05:34 am (UTC)But Brian has to leave and go back to England, which means the pair are split apart. It a tearful separation, bound only by the promise to keep in contact with letters.
Fast forward to six years later: Erik is now twenty-two and has been informed that Brian, who had began a relationship with the girl he knocked up (reluctantly, as his heart is miles away)has died in a car crash. The mother of his child was with him at the time and while she didn't survive, her child had been saved.
Their child, Charles, grows up under the care of his nanny and maids. With access to his father's rooms and belongings, he gets to learn all about his relationship with a man named Erik. His curiosity builds as he reads the stacks of letters his father has kept, the photographs and journal entries that all paint a picture of a beautiful romantic relationship. He grows up believing Erik is the most passionate and wondrous man to live--he's all he thinks and dreams about.
The more he grows up, the more he craves a relationship like his father's and Erik's. He is also repeatedly told that he is the exact physical copy of his handsome father. When he finds out that Erik will be visiting him for his seventeenth birthday, he is overjoyed.
Erik is visiting his old flame's son for the first time, claiming to be Charles's father's friend. The moment he lays eyes on him, he is devastated by the similarities between them. Same eyes, same hair, same demeanour and youthful naivete. It doesn't help that Charles is smitten with him and fully aware of the nature of his relation with his father.
Everything about Charles draws him closer and closer and he knows it's wrong and Charles is too young to know their love but the way the boy seduces him, so reminiscent of Brian's quirks and traits with a mix of his own charm, and the way Charles's infatuation continues to grow - Erik realises he's falling head over heels in love.

Because there is never enough Dragons fics
King Erik is a dragon, though most of the time he is in human form. He is known to be just and fair, and has been ruling for decades without ever getting married. Some says it is because he is searching for the same kind of love his father, dragon himself, and his wife, a human, had.
Every year, the nobles in the kingdom are invited for celebrations in the castle, for a week. Young Charles, 5 years old, goes for the first time. He is amazed by everything he sees (especially the HUGE library). He is still very intimidated when he is presented to the King for the first time, because they say he is a Dragon (even if he doesn't look like one), but the King is very nice.
Later this evening, Charles cannot sleep and goes to find the library. He is in the middle of a book when the king enters, surprised to find the young boy. He doesn't yell at Charles though, like his mother does, and asks him about his book, looking amused. They spend the next couple of hours talking, mostly Charles asking questions (are you really a Dragon? Is that why you have so many teeth? How do Dragons have babies? and so on) before being sent to bed. That evening repeats itself every day of the week, and Erik even teaches Charles to play chess.
Same thing happens the year after, and the year after that. When Charles is 8 though, the family doesn't make it to the celebrations, and Erik, surprised not to see his young friend, learns that the father died, and the mother remarried Kurt Marko.
They don't come for the celebrations for the next 10 years.
When Charles turns 18, Kurt decides to take advantage of the celebrations' week to try to sell his omega stepson, who is legally of age, to the best offer.
When Erik hears of this, he decides to marry Charles, and being the King, he has all rights. Charles really liked Erik, who has always been kind to him, so the thought of marrying him is actually a relief (though he thought Erik had forgotten about him after all these years).
OP would loved to see Erik and Charles slowly falling in love, Charles being at ease with Erik even though they have to adjust to this new relationship. Also, sex, first heat and babies and happy happy Charles (and Erik of course). And a huge bedroom where Erik can sleep in his dragon form sometimes (and Charles loves to cuddle against him when Erik does).

"Edie Lehnsherr couldn't be prouder of her son: a good man with a good head on his shoulders, perhaps a little rough around the edges but soft where it counts. He has everything a mother could dream for their child: a decent job, decent looks (more than decent most would say) and decent friends - the only thing he's lacking, in Edie's opinion, is a decent spouse.
