Charles and Erik don't meet through the events of the movie. Erik kills Shaw but discovers he's been working with a secret government agency that's been experimenting on mutants. Erik ends up meeting up with Logan and Raven. Logan's trying to figure out who he is and how he got these damn metal claws. Raven is looking for her brother, Charles Xavier, who may have been kidnapped by the government. The three raid the lab and find many mutants, adults and children. In one of the last cells, they find Charles Xavier cradling a small child or two small children (can be David, can be Wanda and Pietro).
The child is Erik's even though he's never met Xavier before created by Shaw in an attempt to breed a super mutant (Why yes I am a Logan/Rogue shipper and this plot is one of that ship's favorite tropes)
How do Charles and Erik interact? Bonus points for Raven being awesome and Erik being Alpha!Male about Charles and the child especially around Logan.
