[off-topic, but god, why didn't he throw in a variation on the theme of 'Wir haben es nicht gewusst' while he was at it? Damn, that pissed me off] So that leaves Charles with a serious bit of introspection - and now all he wants to do is find Erik and apologize.

So, possible ideas/starting points: Charles was a promising young pianist before an accident (or perhaps sabotage?), and has instead turned his attentions to conducting. Raven’s a prodigy who steadfastly refuses to settle for playing a single instrument. Hank’s the rising star first-time composer whose first large-scale work they’re premiering. Sean’s the underestimated kid from a nearby opera company’s chorus who was handpicked for the vocal solo. Alex is the belligerent second-chair violinist, or maybe a percussionist.

Erik is probably either a pianist or a cellist (because godDAMN, those hands). Charles tries to help him find a source other than anger (or angst) for the passion behind his playing. Maybe Shaw was Erik’s first, emotionally abusive teacher, who’s now trying to steal the company’s best players for his own orchestra? IDEK, man.

Prompt: I'd love to see Charles suffering from a very bad headache/migraine, after an extended session with cerebro in the early days. He doesn't let it show when he finishes, but maybe he is quiet over dinner or something but whilst none of the others notice Erik does.
Erik finds him later sat in bed in the dark, trying to get himself back under control.
