So there was some discussion re: the other kink meme, and having talked it over with several of you fine folks I have decided to keep this meme open for business. If you prefer to stick to the busier version (1stclass_kink) then no hard feelings, but there are enough differences between the two that I think it's perfectly fine to have both.

As a somewhat related note: I will never delete prompts or specify certain types of requests that are not allowed. It's my belief that at a kink meme anyone should be able to feel comfortable requesting anything, so that is the kind of space I hope this meme is. And if there is a way you think I could make it better, please feel free to suggest it either in comments or in a private message.

OH WAIT I LIED. Two more things:
1. I am sorry if I've been remiss in responding to modstuff! I'll keep a closer eye on it.
2. Discussion about what to do with this meme led to discussion of an art meme. If I opened a second post for art-specific prompts, would people be interested? I've yet to talk it over with bathouse13 but I wanted to gauge enthusiasm.

That is a good idea. I can set that up but would really appreciate if someone else offered to do that or maintain, so if you're interested or willing, that'd be great. All I'd ask, if you are, is that you make sure to tag by warnings or potential triggers (regardless of whether they were marked or not) so as to make it as accessible as possible.

Ah! I'd wondered what was going on with the delicious account as I hadn't gotten a message from you on what to do. I agree with you RE: the opinions and behavior over there. I'd asked to be affiliated with the comm, but I think I'm going to stray away from that.

ANYWAY, since you were so organized with your Delicious account, was wondering if you might think about volunteering to help with mine? (http://www.delicious.com/First_Class_Fic). I've taken on the ridiculous task of trying to keep up with tagging and cataloging all of the fic being posted in the fandom, and so am in need of help. LOL. Let me know!

Sorry about the confussing anon-ness earlier, I forgot I still had this extra account laying around.

I went ahead and made a similarly named yahoo e-mail to start the account but I should be able to change it no problem.

For now I'll catch the warning that are directly in the prompts and if someone else wants to start going through the fills and find things that should be noted that'd be fantastic.

I'm definitely willing, but how do you mean "install a list"? Do you want me to have a list of things that absolutely need to be warned for? If so, do you have any preferences as for how that list would be compiled?

I was just thinking a standard list of triggers- for example, rape, incest, death, violence, mental illness, etc, the usual suspects- maybe compiled in a bolded box or something in every prompt post?

It's been a long time since I have wanted to jump into a fandom with both feet. I got so excited about First Class that I came *back* to LJ. and the first place I found? The other community. I saw the wank and was ready to run away. I'm glad I ran here instead, I look forward to hanging out here.
