Reminder, a question, twitter, new fill option

Hi everyone!

We failed to mention that all rounds will close at 5,000 comments. But please note that in order to give you all some notice, Round 1 will close to new prompts at approximately 5,200; comments posted after the closure will be frozen. Round 2 will open shortly thereafter. Now, this is a perfect time to ask you all how you'd like future rounds to be posted. Would you like a 24 hour rest period in between rounds? A week? Sometime in between? Let us know in the comments!

Also, we've had a number of inquires about starting a twitter account to keep track of WIPs on the meme (like Inception fandom's inceptionwips). Keeping in mind that not everyone has the ability to track individual comment threads (a paid account is required for that), we think it's a great idea. Unfortunately, the mod team has little experience with twitter so we're looking for a few people who are interested starting and maintaining a project like this. If you're willing to help, please drop us a comment here or PM me.

A member suggested we have a place for the anonymous re/posting of full length stories (ala kinkme_merlin). I'll be opening up my journal to anyone who wishes to archive their completed fic while remaining anonymous, so leave a comment at the Ask A Mod page or PM me if you're interested.

And finally, an update on the ableism discussion post will be up within a day or two. Thanks so much for your opinions and your patience. This community would be nothing without your support, comments, and suggestions!

so when you say it's frozen that means we won't be able to fill prompts in comments on the previous rounds? (has little experiences with kink memes)

also, I think there should be no wait period. Put the next round up as soon as you close the previous one imo.

When a round's closed, you can still fill prompts. You just can't post new ones.

Yes, exactly.

To further clarify: A mod will make a comment stating that the round is closed to new prompts and any prompt posted after that will frozen. You cannot reply to a frozen comment, but they'll still be visible and can be reposted once a new round opens.

I think the twitter is an awesome idea, and I'd like to make a suggestion.

I've mentioned it to the mods at the other kink meme, and was wondering if the mods here would be willing to work out a delicious for both memes to help people find fills of cross-posted prompts. At the very least, is there any chance you could put the idea out there?

I'd volunteer myself but I already manage one meme's archiving, and I doubt I could handle that as well as a multi-meme delicious, especially in such a fast-moving fandom. Again, just throwing the idea out there. :)

And seconding the 24 hour wait, though I'd suggest planning with the other meme to avoid having them both shut down at the same time.
