Ooh! It's at the small of his back! (Okay, I should not sound so happy about a spinal cord injury, but I was excited that I figured it out.)

Last chapter is going to be fairly long, in fact. Might end up being two chapters

Correct! Which I bring attention to only because I find it a strangely intriguing mental image and therefore needed to share. :)
