From:Round 3, Charles/Erik, D/S AU
Date: 2012-01-04 12:26 am (UTC)(D/S universe, feel free to make it pre-destined or just very strong attraction based. Also, long prompt is long).
AU setting where Erik learned of Shaw's goals and killed him a decade earlier and he, with some assistance by Shaw's former people carries on Shaw's goals, but in a slower, more diplomatic/conniving way thanks to the advice of one Emma Frost. Together he and Emma establish the country of Genosha within the a decade, which quickly becomes a major player politically and a safe haven for mutants. Everyone is almost perfect, except that Erik has never found his submissive, leaving him increasingly disconnected from his emotions and making many question his leadership, as it's nearly impossible to make it to thirty without finding your sub.
Emma invites the famed sub Raven to come to court under the hopes that she might belong to Erik, and if not then that she might at least serve as a distraction for some time. Raven agrees, but only if her very human and dominant brother can come with her. Emma allows this, as it's good publicity for Genosha and this Charles Xavier is known to be the foremost expert on genetics, so he could prove useful. Raven and Charles arrive at court, where Erik's right hand man/woman Azazel/Destiny immediately recognize that Raven is their sub and claims her before Erik can even give a courtly introduction. So much for that plan. But Erik does feel an immediate connection to Charles and they quickly become reluctant friends, as Erik despises humans and Charles seems to want to avoid Erik at all costs.
Emma notices there is something... off about Charles as compared to other doms, and one day she finally manages to break through his mental blocks that she assumed Raven had taught him. But the moment she slips into Charles' head she knows that he is neither human nor a dominant, and the moment she manages to get him to fight back and drop his shields as a result, Erik knows that his sub has been with him for weeks. Charles faked being both, the former to give proof that human and mutants could coexist peacefully and the latter to avoid this very situation.
Charles tries to resist Erik, but now that it's out in the open and Erik is treating him like his sub rather than a fellow dom, Charles is horrified to find that his instincts are beginning to override his reason and that he's actually acting like a sub for the first time in his life Erik meanwhile, is doing his best to train Charles and learn how to be a proper dom to a rather unusual sub, having never had anyone attempt to say no to him in a decade. Happy ending please?

From:R3 The Feminine Mystique23 Charlotte/OMC, C/E, racism, misogyny, depression, gender/race in 50s/60s
Date: 2012-01-15 06:22 am (UTC)If Charlotte/Charles was born a girl, what type of preassures would she face, and how would that affect XMFC. After all, this is the 50's and women are strongly encouraged to get married and have 2.5 children. Picking up from part 22.

One of the first decisions Charlotte made about the upcoming battle was not to tell Raven what this little trip would be about. Technically, Charlotte didn’t know either, but she did recognize that would not be enough to save her from being chewed out when Raven did find out.
She did consider telling Darwin, and thought she might try and arrange for him to come along if it weren’t for Alex. Alex clearly, desperately needed human interaction with someone he considered ‘safe’. She’d ask Armando his opinion
sometime closer to the departure date.
Luckily, while Raven did sense that something was off about Charlotte, she seemed to attribute it to her worry over George and what Raven considered ridiculous angst over Charlotte’s ‘leave George’ plan. It also helped that Charlotte had Raven running ragged putting the plan into place.
Charlotte spent her days preparing for the anticipated conflict with Emma however, and so she was quite surprised by Raven’s sheepish call.
“Hi,” said Raven, and then proceeded to beat around the bush for a full five minutes until Charlotte was about ready to just pull whatever it was out of Raven’s mind. Up until now she had felt fine leaving Raven and the boys unsupervised at the mansion, except for Charlotte’s occasional mental presence. Raven, or Charlotte acknowledged, one of the others, had clearly done something large enough that they needed her help, but something idiotic enough Raven didn’t really want to confess.
“Raven,” Charlotte said, “if you don’t tell me what it is, I am going to ask Darwin.” The mumble she caught from her sister was not actually distinguishable as human language and Charlotte just let the silence hang. Raven had certainly grown in confidence, but now that she had done something stupid that she knew was stupid she seemed to have regressed in years.
“So, Char, you know, there’s an incredible amount of testosterone in the mansion, and they kept ribbing me for being a girl, you know? So I might have said something about not really being a girl and they wanted me to prove it, and we found another mutant!” Charlotte had a sinking feeling in her stomach.
“Raven. May I ask where exactly you found this other mutant?”
“Actually, Charlotte, I’m really glad we found her, she’s sort of exactly the reason we started doing this in the first place, and she has the most gorgeous wings.”
“Raven, I realize you have a horrible crush on her,”
“I don’t!” Raven practically shouted.
“You do, I’m not exactly reading your mind, but seriously you’re projecting lust every time you say a word about her, and I may be used to it, but that doesn’t mean I wanted to know.”

(1) Shaw kicks Erik's ass and is like, mm, pretty omega. Waits until Charles is in heat. Makes Erik watch Charles try so hard not to want Shaw. Which doesn't work --> Shaw is brutal and Charles loves it until it's over. Shaw goes, if you'll willingly be mine, I won't execute Erik. (aaand this is a PWP but possibly, longer plot with Erik escaping, overthrowing, reclaiming etc etc)
(2) Erik, reluctant about the whole taking-the-other-guy's-omega tradition, but hey, he's not gonna say no. And Shaw's omega is very very pretty (of course he is, Shaw culled him out out of loads of people) and kind of terrified and Erik has to coax him into it. (Alternatively, be a little rough/manipulative. You know you want this, etc etc, complimenting him and saying it'll be good) Erik ends up claiming him, and either has to convince everyone that it's not about gloating about Shaw, or be unabashedly yeah, he's just spoils of war.

Personal head!canon says that this was done on purpose, to give Erik a way to help everyone if they get in danger by yanking them away or lifting them, etc. Basically a big honking sign of trust and teamwork.
Post-divorce, the X-Men now have new uniforms with absolutely no metal anywhere.
Erik doesn't even ask Hank to do it, so it’s surprising to him when he’s evaluating his team how much of their outfits are just unnecessary and flashy. It’s only once they’re all in the plane that it strikes him that all the things that he had dismissed as random zippers and unneeded buttons are all made of pure metal and they sing in his mind. Erik looks sharply at Hank, but he doesn't even know if Hank is aware of that. The man is focused on the plane, as he well should be. Charles gives him a slightly confused glance at his sharp movement, but he says nothing.
He has always felt that the children trusted him but to see it laid out so blatantly was… new. Erik isn't sure how he feels about this.
He leaves Charles on a beach in Cuba and Mystique tears off her outfit and disappears down the hall once they arrive in a house that neither of them know. The metal hits the ground, the feel of it resonating through his bones.
He had seen Hank’s face as he left and he knows that the next outfits will not include any unnecessary metal. The thought of it hurts him and he now knows what he felt about it being included in the first place.
(He is both right and wrong. The next outfits don’t include any metal at all.)

Azazel catches him and BAMFs him back to Oxford (Charles's control over his powers isn't fully developed yet, so he's not as good at stealth). Where things go from there is up to anon. Does Charles convince Azazel to leave Hellfire in the end? Do they face one another on the battlefield?
Bonus points for:
1. Age difference kink
2. Elements of D/s (and Azazel, after BAMFing Charles back to Oxford, chiding him because he's not going to get a lot of sleep before an early tutorial)
3. Some light spanking with role playClub, but he gradually starts to suspect and argues with Azazel/starts trying to follow him to meetings.
So yeah, i know this is a rare pairing, but I love Azazel, he gets so little love around here :(
