Thank you so much for your story. Specially for so reliable happy ending. While I was reading this fic I wanted it ends in a good way so badly but I did not see how could it be. But! You managed do it in a best way! And this is so right that you gave Eric so long period for changing. He had time to understand that Charles could servive without him and that if he wants get Charles back he needs to do something better than just locking him in a room.
Eric needed this punch in stomack which Emma and Azazel gave to him. And he definitly deserved it. And I think that if he let Charles to go by himself Charles would not take a risk back to Erik. Just because he would not be sure that Eric will unhand him once again.

My god, this is my longest comment in English and probably on my own language as well. And I am a bit shy to say it, but some time ago I made a collage inspired by your fic (the moment than Charles escaped, but could not make the last step and betray Raven and Eric. In that moment I did not beleive that the fic would have happy end:-). Hope you will like it. This made in scrapbook technics.
