Round 3, Gen, Team, Charles, Erik - What you wear says a lot
Date: 2013-03-28 05:59 am (UTC)Everyone has noticed all the unnecessary metal zippers and thingamabobs on the XMFC version of the uniforms, right?
Personal head!canon says that this was done on purpose, to give Erik a way to help everyone if they get in danger by yanking them away or lifting them, etc. Basically a big honking sign of trust and teamwork.
Post-divorce, the X-Men now have new uniforms with absolutely no metal anywhere.
