Date: 2011-09-14 06:14 am (UTC)There are stories where Charles is Erik’s sub and they are both happy, but what about some more angsty theme? AU where mutants and humans live together but mutants think themselves more important and often treat humans like dirt. Sub/Dom pairs are created by imprinting. Mutants generally imprint on mutants and Erik who is the most powerful among them thinks that he will have equally powerful sub. Turns out that he imprints on Charles – a brilliant yet entirely human Professor. Cue Erik being disgusted and angry with his Sub, which Charles takes really hard. Erik is ashamed of him, and doesn’t want him to associate with other mutants, but slowly Charles charms his way to the hearts of everyone and one day another mutant (Logan pretty please?) challenges Erik’s claim over Xavier.

Logan's trying to figure out who he is and how he got these damn metal claws. Raven is looking for her brother, Charles Xavier, who may have been kidnapped by the government. The three raid the lab and find many mutants, adults and children. In one of the last cells, they find Charles Xavier cradling a small child or two small children (can be David, can be Wanda and Pietro).

I find the image of the young Erik being forcibly held back from his parents while the gate bends and the soldiers are pulled towards it by the metal on them a very powerful one. I'd like to read something where an adult Erik and Charles are being forcibly pulled away from one another, and in his distress Erik's power is wreaking havoc on the metal in the vicinity. If you can work it somehow so that it's set in the First Class universe and it's the CIA or some similar group separating them. I love angst and h/c, but prefer a happy outcome (and no beach divorce!) Bonus points for an outsider pov of what's happening - preferably a non-mutant.

So. After reading a fic with Erik as a kitten (Humane Society), and a fic with Charles as a cat trying desperately to get Erik to notice it's him, and then subsequently thinking 'Oh, Charles is having kittens' (as in the metaphor, not literally) my brain went strange places.
I'd like a fic where a pregnant Charles gets turned into a cat. And of course, guess what happens next. Erik freaks out, because Charles is due to give birth SOME TIME SOON but they can't figure out how to change him back asap. Then one day, Charles disappears. And of course, Erik goes ballistic, until he finds Charles nestled in the bed, with kitten(s). And Erik's all 'MY BABIES' and 'CHARLES I'M SO HAPPY' and 'WAIT HOW DO I CUDDLE MY KITTENBABIES?' and 'WHAT IF THEY NEVER TURN BACK INTO HUMANS?!?!?!' Of course they do turn back, but for a while, Erik was at a complete loss, because he read up on Dr. Spock (secretly), but not on how to take care of kittens.
